Cape Town, South Africa

IFLA 2015
Great room at the Westin Cape Town
My room included breakfast and dinner
Looking at the World Cup stadium at every meal has turned me into a football fan!
The hotel also offers a Happy Hour for executive level guest.

The sunsets are the best!

Sundance Resort

You can't really "do" Sundance without a stay at the Sundance Resort

A good 45 min drive from Park City, the resort is the BEST way to see movies at Sundance

What can beat leaving your suite 15 minutes before showtime?

If you're looking to mix snow, film, food, and fun, this is the place for you!

The Blackhouse at Sundance 2015

If you missed out, you missed a good one! This was a great spot for Black filmmakers at Sundance.

The brunch was great! Thanks HBO!

The panels were wonderful!

And the special program on The Book of Negros was well worth the trip to the Filmmakers Lodge on Main Street

See you in 2016!

The Chase Sapphire Preferred House @ Sundance

One of the more relaxing spots on Main Street, the Chase Sapphire Preferred house was a great spot to chill.  The food was great and they also gave out the larger water bottles -- that everyone was trying to find.

I may have missed James Marsden hanging out at Chase Sapphire Preferred, but I made that up in soup!

SundanceTV HQ House

The SundanceTV HQ house was my home away from home at Sundance this year.  This was a great place to grab a water bottle (not just given away to "everyone" this year) and get snacks (thank you Chobani) and snag one of these really cool hand print bags!

These gloves are the best!

I loved the coffee/tea bar and all the great yogurt ideas from Chobani

Sundance Resort and Spa

Loved my room at the Sundance Resort

Guess who I ran into at Sundance?

Sundance 2015

Just back from Sundance.  Had a great time.  Over the next few days, I will post my favorite photos.

ASALH Meeting | Memphis, TN

The Peabody Hotel is one of the oldest in the South

Being an older hotel, the rooms are smaller.  That being said, I really liked my room.

I started my day with High Tea

Had a great tour of Stax Records

Then, I presented my paper and met with old friends (like Darlene Clark Hine).

Thanks, Memphis!
